We were delighted to attend the 2015 Loughry Campus Awards Ceremony on Friday 26th June and it gave us great pleasure to present the ‘Willowbrook Food Innovation Award’  in recognition and to reward students who excel at food innovation to Pamela Bruce (Bellaghy).  Pamela received the highest marks in the college’s Food Innovation Module and graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Food Design and Nutrition.

Eardley Liesching, from Willowbrook Foods said;

 “Northern Ireland’s CAFRE College has been a fantastic training ground for our agri-food workforce, indeed many of Willowbrook’s own staff hail from the Loughry Campus.  Innovative thinking is a talent trait we covet, and so I’m delighted to award the Willowbrook Food Innovation Cup and prize to Pamela, whose creative thinking and determination has resulted in sustained academic success.”
